2025 V3 JPRO Update Introduces CAN Bus Diagnostics Feature for Voltage/Resistance Readings

Greensboro, North Carolina – December 10, 2025 – Noregon recently released a major update for JPRO – officially titled JPRO Professional v3 – that introduces new diagnostic features and coverage for on and off-highway vehicles and equipment.

Notably, this release marks the debut of CAN Bus Diagnostics, a feature that enables technicians to view voltage and resistance readings directly from the software, as opposed to traditional hardware methods such as multimeters or oscilloscopes.

“CAN Bus Diagnostics will save technicians a lot of time by giving them voltage and resistance values in the application,” said Jason Hedman, Product Manager at Noregon.  “The biggest benefit is reducing dependency on hardware for those measurements, especially in systems that require various levels of disassembly to reach an access point.”

This technology enabled additional improvements in JPRO, such as new CAN related faults that alert users to communication issues like a short circuit.  Additionally, users can graph live CAN voltage readings to detect patterns of interference or grounding problems.

“We’re committed to giving technicians the tools they need to get the job done accurately and efficiently,” said Hedman.  “So, in addition to features like CAN Bus Diagnostics, we stay focused on adding coverage for commercial vehicles and off-highway equipment so technicians can service all types of fleets and keep their bays flowing.”

JPRO Professional v3
includes coverage and feature updates for popular on-highway brands like Cummins engines, Eaton transmissions, and Ford medium-duty vehicles.  Additionally, emissions faults and data for new Volvo Trucks North America VN4 architecture vehicles (Volvo and Mack) are now available.  Off-highway coverage highlights include additions for John Deere and Kubota equipment.
